My college experience was okay. Not the best, the work load was almost the same as high school work but the due dates were all bunched in together. I can self regulate and take advantage of my time but I felt lost a lot during this project. It was almost as if I was a fish in the sea, lost and confused.
For my future self the advice I would give to myself is to be strong. Shit ain’t always easy, isn’t always simple, ain’t always fair. You have to trust yourself, keep your eyes on the prize and you will get there. The workload that is given to you do it! The classes become easier once you do the work that is assigned at home. Especially when a teacher gives you readings and annotations, read them and annotate because in class you will have to analyze the readings which helps you out in the end. You will be prepared in the class and you will know what you need in order to pass the class with a high grade. Do not do a half done job because when you do, the teacher will easily give you a low grade which will stay there forever. Work better with others because the teacher sees everything lowkey.
Advice I would give to underclassmen is to just do your work and do not procrastinate and sit alone but if you can control yourself sit with your friends. Manage your time and do your work but it’s college so have fun. These 4 years of your life you will never get back so have fun make great memories and live through the thrilling experiences. #YOLO
